What the website switch includes

  • I check where your email lives and make sure it keeps working.
  • I point your domain to the new site, or transfer it if needed. Always in your name.
  • Every old address leads to its equivalent on the new site, up to 100 addresses, so you keep what Google already knows.
  • One single version of the site: no duplicates, no mix of addresses with and without www.
  • I add the new site to Search Console with its sitemap.
  • Once everything works, I back up the old site and close it down in order.

I pay for the first year of the domain. After that, the domain and other tools (bookings, ads) are paid by you directly, in your name. I only charge for the work.

What’s usual

  • You pay part of it before seeing anything.

Questions about the packages.

Finestra or Porta?

Finestra is a template with your logo and colours: quick and affordable. Porta is custom designed for your business and you see it before paying. If the website needs to sell, go for Porta.

What happens if I cancel upkeep?

The website keeps working the same. I hand the account over in your name and send you a copy of the site, by email, within a day.

Why not WordPress?

A hand-built website is faster, safer and needs no plugin updates. The trade-off: I make the changes, and that's what the Clauer is for.

Do you build online shops?

For a few products or gift vouchers, I add Stripe payments to your website. For a shop with a catalogue and shipping, we use Shopify, quoted separately.

Do you design logos?

No. I work with the logo you have and choose colours, materials and type so the website matches it.
